Yarrow herb is a herbal medicine that is used as a medicinal tea.It is used internally for loss of appetite and digestive disorders such as mild, cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal area.It can also be used externally as a bath additive for painful cramping conditions in the female pelvis (pelvipathia vegetativa).No prescription is required for this product.

Yarrow herb is used for mild cramp-like gastrointestinal complaints, indigestion and loss of appetite.If symptoms last longer than a week or recur periodically, you should consult a doctor.

Dosage and instructions for use

Teenagers aged 12 and over and adults can use yarrow herb in the form of tea.To stimulate your appetite, it is recommended to drink a cup of tea three times a day half an hour before meals.If you have digestive problems, the tea should be taken after meals.To prepare it, pour boiling water over an infusion bag and let it steep for about 10 to 15 minutes.For sitz baths, 100 g of yarrow herb is used in 20 liters of water.

Contraindications

Yarrow herb must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to yarrow or other composite plants such as arnica, chamomile or marigolds.There are no sufficient studies on use in children under 12 years of age, so the medicine should not be used in this age group.Preparations made from yarrow herb should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as there are no sufficient studies available.
