Dosage and application

The recommended dosage of Unizink 50 depends on age and body weight:

Children between 1 and 10 years: 1 tablet daily.

Children aged 11 and over: 1-2 tablets daily.

Adults, pregnant women and nursing mothers: 2 tablets daily.

The tablets should be taken whole and unsucked with liquid about 30-60 minutes before meals.Unizink 50 is suitable for long-term use over several months.

Contraindications

Unizink 50 must not be taken if you are allergic to zinc aspartate or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.The product should also not be used if you have severe kidney damage or acute kidney failure.

Side effects

Storage

Keep Unizink 50 out of the reach of children and do not store it above 25°C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton.

Composition

The active ingredient in Unizink 50 is zinc bis-(hydrogen-DL-aspartate).Each enteric-coated tablet contains 50 mg zinc bis-(hydrogen-DL-aspartate), equivalent to 10 mg zinc.The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, sorbitol, triethyl citrate, croscarmellose sodium, talc, titanium dioxide, long-chain partial glycerides, magnesium stearate, macrogol 6000, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer, methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1) and methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion 30%.
