Instructions for use for Mepore Pro Sterile Plaster

Mepore Pro is a waterproof, self-adhesive wound dressing used to cover and protect mildly exuding, acute wounds.The bandage measures 9 x 25 cm and consists of a water-emulsion-based polyacrylate adhesive that allows for gentle application and secure fixation.

The dressing provides a waterproof barrier that also serves as a germ barrier for viruses and bacteria larger than 25 nm.Mepore Pro rubs only slightly on bed linen and clothing and offers optimal absorption capacity.The easy-to-remove protective film allows for problem-free application.

Mepore Pro can be used on a variety of mildly exuding wounds, such as post-operative surgical wounds, lacerations and skin abrasions.The dressing consists of a water-based polyacrylate adhesive, a viscose wound pad with a gently adhesive wound contact layer and a vapor permeable film that provides a waterproof barrier when showering.The bandage also protects against the penetration of liquid and bacterial contamination.

Application

Mepore Pro is suitable for the treatment of low to moderate exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.The dressing should not be used on patients who are sensitive to adhesives containing acrylic.When applying over joints, care must be taken to ensure that flexibility is not restricted.
