Mepore Pro is a waterproof, self-adhesive wound dressing suitable for covering and protecting easily exuding, acute wounds.The dressing has a water-emulsion-based polyacrylate adhesive that allows for gentle application and secure fixation.No prescription is required for this product.

The bandage provides a waterproof barrier that also serves as a germ barrier for viruses and bacteria.This barrier protects against germs that are larger than 25 nm.Mepore Pro rubs only slightly on bed linen and clothing and offers optimal absorption capacity.The easy-to-remove protective film allows for problem-free application.

The optimized adhesive ensures secure fixation and easy removal of the bandage.The vapor permeable film provides a waterproof barrier when showering and protects against liquid penetration and bacterial contamination.The bandage consists of a wound pad made of viscose with a gently adhesive wound contact layer.

Areas of application

Mepore Pro can be used on a variety of mildly exuding wounds, including postoperative surgical wounds, lacerations and skin abrasions.The dressing is suitable for the treatment of weakly to moderately exuding wounds.

Instructions for use

Mepore Pro should not be used on patients who are sensitive to acrylic-based adhesives.When applying over joints, care must be taken to ensure that flexibility is not restricted.
