Areas of application

Vitis comp.Tablets are an anthroposophic medicine that is used to stimulate liver metabolism.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it is particularly suitable as an additional treatment for malignant diseases.

Important information on application

Vitis comp.Tablets must not be used if you are hypersensitive to strawberries (Fragaria vesca), wheat starch or any of the other ingredients.Liver diseases should always be clarified and monitored by a doctor.Drug therapy does not replace avoiding causes that damage the liver, such as alcohol.

For children under 12 years of age, Vitis comp.cannot be used because there is no sufficiently documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be taken after consulting your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines are not known.However, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.

This medicine contains lactose.Therefore, only take it after consulting your doctor if you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars.Wheat starch can contain small amounts of gluten, which are also considered tolerable by patients with celiac disease.

Application and dosage

Take Vitis comp.Always take exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, chewed well before eating.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with your doctor.

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Vitis comp.have side effects, but not everyone gets them.In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.Wheat starch can also cause hypersensitivity reactions.In this case you should stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.

Composition and dosage form

1 Tablet contains the following active ingredients: Calcarea formicica Trit.D2 (HAB, V. 6) 20 mg, Fragaria vesca, Folium sicc.40 mg, Stibium metallicum praeparatum Trit.D5 20 mg, Vitis vinifera, Folium sicc.40 mg.Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, wheat starch and calcium behenate.

The dosage form is tablets, available in a pack size of 200.

Notes

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.
