Instructions for use of Pertudoron 1 drop

Pertudoron 1 is a mixture that is used for whooping cough, convulsive cough and spastic bronchitis according to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature.No prescription is required for this product.

This medicine contains 47% alcohol by volume.Please keep this in mind, especially if you need or need to avoid alcohol.

Ingredients

10 g (= 10.7 ml) Pertudoron 1 contains the following active ingredients: Belladonna Dil.D3 1 g, China, ethanol.Decoctum Dil.D3 1 g, Coccus cacti Dil.D3 1 g, Drosera Dil.D1 0.5 g, Ipecacuanha, ethanol.Decoctum Dil.D3 1 g, Mephitis putorius (HAB 34) Dil.D5 [HAB, V. 5a, Lösung D2 mit Ethanol 86 % (m/m)] 1 g, Veratrum album, ethanol.Decoctum Dil.D3 1g.The other ingredients included are ethanol 94% (m/m) and purified water.

Application

Pertudoron 1 should always be taken exactly as your doctor has told you.The drops are diluted with water and usually used alternately with Pertudoron 2.The dosage and frequency of intake depend on age and the stage of the disease.

Adults and young people aged 12 and over usually take 5-10 drops, school children aged 6-12 take 5 drops, toddlers aged 1-5 also take 5 drops and infants in their first year of life take 3 drops.In the acute stage, it is taken every hour or every 2-3 hours, and after improvement 2-3 times a day.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, you should see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be agreed with the doctor.

Precautions

Pertudoron 1 must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to quinine.It should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other medications prescribed by a doctor.If symptoms persist for a long time, shortness of breath, fever or purulent sputum, a doctor should be consulted.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Pertudoron 1 should only be used after consulting a doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines, but please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Pertudoron 1 can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.If you experience side effects, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.
