Instructions for use of Pertudoron 2 drops

Pertudoron 2 is a liquid dilution with the active ingredient Cuprum aceticum D3.This anthroposophical medicine is used as an adjunctive therapy for those with a tendency to spasms of the smooth and striated muscles, for example in whooping cough, spasmodic cough, bronchitis with spasmodic conditions and bronchial asthma.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Pertudoron 2 contains 18% alcohol by volume.It should not be used for Wilson's disease (copper storage disease).If symptoms persist for a long time, shortness of breath, fever or purulent sputum, a doctor should be consulted.In the case of bronchial asthma, Pertudoron 2 must not be used in infants and small children up to the age of 3, as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Application

Pertudoron 2 should always be taken exactly as your doctor has told you.The dose depends on age and the stage of the disease.For whooping cough, convulsive cough and bronchitis, Pertudoron 2 is usually taken alternately with Pertudoron 1.In the case of bronchial asthma, it should be taken without alternating with Pertudoron 1. The drops are best taken diluted with water.The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.

Side effects

Nausea may occur after taking Pertudoron 2.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition and storage

10 ml Pertudoron 2 contains the active ingredient Cuprum aceticum Dil.D3 with ethanol 15% (m/m).The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton and should not be stored above 25°C.
