Isotonic ("physiological") sodium chloride solution 0.9%.This solution is used as a plasma isotonic fluid replacement, especially in hypochloremic acidosis and hyponatremia.It can also be used as a carrier solution for medications.

Areas of application

The isotonic saline solution is used in hypotonic and isotonic dehydration for short-term volume replacement therapy.It is also suitable for moistening bandages.

Ingredients

The solution consists of sodium chloride dissolved in water at a concentration of 0.9%.This composition corresponds to the physiological salt concentration in the blood plasma.
