Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Soventol Gel is Bamipin[(RS)-lactat] in a concentration of 20 mg per gram of gel.In addition, the gel contains the following excipients: purified water, hypromellose, poly(oxyethylene)-6-glycerol (mono/di)alkanoate (C8-C10) and propylene glycol.Propylene glycol can cause skin irritation.

Mode of action

Bamipin is an antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors.Histamine is a substance produced naturally in the body that plays an important role in inflammation and allergic reactions.By blocking histamine, itching, swelling, redness and burning are reduced.The cooling gel base enhances itching relief and forms a protective film on the skin when it dries.

Application

Apply Soventol Gel in a thin layer to the affected skin areas several times a day.If necessary, the application can be repeated at half-hour intervals.Massage the gel in gently, but avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open wounds.Continue using the gel until the symptoms subside.

Dosage

The usual dose is a sufficient amount of the gel applied to the affected skin areas several times a day.The duration of use depends on the severity of the symptoms.If symptoms persist for a long time, you should consult a doctor.Symptoms of overdose are not to be expected when used as intended.

Contraindications
