The Autan Defense Long Protection Pump Spray offers you long-lasting and effective protection against mosquitoes, tiger mosquitoes and ticks.Thanks to its highly effective formula with 25% icaridin, it protects you from mosquitoes and tiger mosquitoes for up to 10 hours and against ticks for up to 12 hours.It is the ideal companion for trips to tropical regions, forests or areas near water.

No prescription is required for this product.The product has been dermatologically tested by the Skin Health Alliance® and can be safely used on children aged 2 and over.The active ingredient Icaridin, recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization), has a similarly high level of effectiveness as DEET, but is particularly skin- and material-friendly.It also has a neutral smell - pleasant for you but repellent for insects.

The handy spray bottle is made from 50% recycled plastic and is designed so that you can even use it upside down - for even easier use.Developed with over 60 years of experience in insect research, the spray stands for competence, quality and sustainability.

Mode of action

Mosquitoes are primarily attracted by body fumes such as sweat and carbon dioxide.The pump spray blocks the insects' scent receptors so that they can no longer perceive your skin and are reliably kept away.

For optimal protection, you should apply the spray evenly to the skin and rub it in.It can also be combined with sunscreen and skin care products - the only important thing is that you apply the mosquito repellent as the last layer.

Application

To be applied to the skin.Spray the product evenly onto all areas of skin to be protected and then rub completely with your hand.For example, we recommend using approx. 6-7 sprays/~1ml for the area of a forearm.

To use on the face of children or adults, spray directly into the palm of an adult's hand and spread sparingly over the face of the adult or child, avoiding the eye and mouth area.Suitable for children aged 2 and over.For children aged 2 years and over, use no more than once per day; for adults, use a maximum of three times per day.Do not use under clothing.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use.Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.Do not reuse or refill bottle.Use only according to instructions for use.Do not use on children's hands.To use on the face, spray directly into the palm of your hand and spread sparingly over the face, avoiding the eye and mouth area.Do not use on damaged skin (e.g. sunburn) or irritated skin.If irritation or irritation occurs, discontinue use.
