Cloderm Liquid 1% pump spray is a medicine with the active ingredient clotrimazole, which is used to treat fungal skin infections.These infections can be caused by various types of fungi such as dermatophytes, yeasts (e.g. Candida species), molds and Malassezia furfur.Typical areas of application are mycoses of the feet, skin and skin folds, pityriasis versicolor and superficial candidiasis.

Important information on application

Cloderm Liquid 1% pump spray should not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.If you are hypersensitive to propylene glycol, macrogol (polyethylene glycol) or sensitive to 2-propanol, it is recommended to use a different dosage form (e.g. a cream).The preparation is not suitable for use in the ear canal.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Cloderm Liquid 1% pump spray, especially if you are taking or planning to take other medicines.Clotrimazole can reduce the effectiveness of amphotericin and other polyene antibiotics (e.g. nystatin, natamycin).

Application and dosage

Cloderm Liquid 1% pump spray is sprayed thinly onto the affected skin areas.The recommended dose is 2-3 times daily.Before the first use, you should press the spray head 1-2 times to make the product ready for use.The spray distance should be 10 to 30 cm.

The duration of treatment depends on the extent and location of the disease.It is important to use it regularly and for a sufficiently long period of time to achieve complete healing.In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks after all signs of the disease have disappeared.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Cloderm Liquid 1% pump spray can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.Skin reactions such as temporary redness, burning or stinging can often occur.Allergic skin reactions are possible if you are hypersensitive to propylene glycol and macrogol (polyethylene glycol).
