Instructions for use for Mykosert® spray for skin and athlete's foot, 2x30 ml
Mykosert® Spray stops skin and athlete's foot
Mykosert® is a broadly effective medicine for the treatment of skin and athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and other forms of skin fungus such as ringworm (tinea corporis) or bran fungus (pityriasis versicolor). No prescription is required for this product.
How does Mykosert® Spray work?
Mykosert® contains the modern active ingredient sertaconazole, which has antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This means that Mykosert® effectively combats the cause of the fungal disease and at the same time relieves the typical symptoms such as itching, burning, blisters and unpleasant odors on the skin.
Why spray instead of cream?
Using the spray offers several benefits. It allows application without touching the infected skin and distributes the active ingredient evenly. The capillary effect ensures good distribution of active ingredients, even in difficult areas such as skin flakes and nail edges. The alcoholic active ingredient solution in the Mykosert® spray additionally disinfects the skin and keeps it dry and hygienic. In addition, the spray evaporates without leaving any stains.
New spray head!
Thanks to the improved spray head, the Mykosert® Spray can not only be sprayed upright, but also overhead. This makes it particularly easy to use as the affected areas of the body can be reached easily.
Mykosert® can also be sprayed into shoes!
Mykosert® Spray can also be sprayed into shoes as part of athlete's foot therapy to reduce re-infection with athlete's foot.
When treating nail fungus, always treat athlete's foot that occurs at the same time!
As part of nail fungus therapy, a skin infection that often occurs at the same time should always be treated.Mykosert® Spray is therefore also a good additional recommendation for the treatment of athlete's foot in patients with nail fungus.
Mykosert® Spray at a glance
Mykosert® Spray stops skin and athlete's foot, has a fungicidal and fungistatic effect, is a hygienic alternative to cream, is absorbed quickly and washes off, evaporates without leaving any residue without stains, relieves itching and inflammation and is very well tolerated.
Four common skin and athlete’s foot mistakes to avoid
Even before the first skin changes can be seen, the fungus usually becomes noticeable through invisible signs. The fungal growth causes tension in the skin, which is noticeable through tingling, itching or a slight burning sensation.Redness, cracks in the skin or blisters in the area between the toes are often confused with corns or pressure points. The quicker you react, the less complicated the treatment is.You can often even smell the fungus: an unpleasant smell can be the first sign of a fungal disease.Because if the skin's immune system is weakened by the fungus, certain bacteria can also multiply more easily.
Skin and athlete's foot should be treated as early as possible - at the first signs - because the longer the fungus remains untreated, the greater the risk of it spreading to other areas of the skin or toenails.
Fungal diseases are often accompanied by moist, softened skin - ideal growth conditions for the pathogens. In this case, the skin should not be additionally moistened with a cream, but should be kept dry during the treatment. The hygienic alcohol-based Mykosert spray for skin and athlete's foot is the right recommendation here.
The risk of infection via the washing machine is often underestimated. In families and shared apartments, fungal pathogens often spread through laundry in the washing machine.Linen, towels and bed linen that come into contact with the infected skin areas should be washed separately and at a minimum of 60°C, or with special hygiene detergents.
Use of Mykosert® Spray for skin and athlete's foot
Mykosert® Spray is sprayed onto the infected skin areas 1-2 times a day, depending on the severity of the infection. It is used without touching the infected skin. There is no need to spread the solution with your fingers or an applicator. This makes it easy and hygienic to use.The active ingredient is absorbed into the skin immediately after application. After use, the effect remains waterproof for up to 48 hours like a protective shield against the fungus (depot effect).
Thanks to the new improved spray head, application is now even easier! The spray can be held upright or overhead for application. This makes it easy to treat the affected areas of the body.
The use of Mykosert® Spray should be continued even after the symptoms have subsided until the disease has completely healed.
