What is Mykosert® Spray?

Mykosert® Spray is a medicine that is used to treat skin and athlete's foot as well as other forms of skin fungus such as ringworm or bran fungus.It works against fungal pathogens as well as inflammation and bacteria, relieving symptoms such as itching, burning and unpleasant odors.The active ingredient is distributed effectively under skin flakes and on the edges of the nail, evaporates without leaving any residue and leaves no stains.

Four common skin and athlete’s foot mistakes to avoid

1. Symptoms are recognized too late or ignored: Fungal growth can become noticeable through tingling, itching or burning before visible skin changes appear.Redness or blistering can easily be overlooked.An unpleasant smell can also be a first sign.

2. Waiting too long to treat: Skin and athlete's foot should be treated early to prevent it from spreading to other areas of the skin or toenails.

Use of Mykosert® Spray for skin and athlete's foot

Mykosert® Spray is sprayed onto the infected skin areas 1-2 times a day, depending on the severity of the infection.It is used without touching the infected skin and the active ingredient is absorbed into the skin immediately after application.The effect remains waterproof for up to 48 hours.The application should be continued until complete healing.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Mykosert® Spray is sertaconazole nitrate.Other ingredients include (1,3-dioxolan-4-yl) methanol-1,3-dioxan-5-ol mixture (x:y), ethanol (96%) and propylene glycol.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.
