Instructions for use for Stryphnasal N nasal pins

Stryphnasal N nasal pins are used to mechanically stop nosebleeds.The nasal pin should remain in the nose for at least 10 to 15 minutes.The mechanical pressure of the pen compresses the ruptured blood vessel, stopping the bleeding.The hard fat contained in the nasal pins melts at body temperature, making the nasal mucosa slightly lubricated and supple.When the remaining pin is removed, the wound closure is protected and the wound does not start to bleed again.

Application

First, remove a Stryphnasal N nasal pin from the plastic film.While sitting (not lying down!), carefully insert the pen, tip first, into the bleeding nostril.Hold a tissue or cotton ball under it and press the pen lightly into your nose.Once the bleeding has stopped, the part that has not melted can be removed without difficulty.If left in the nose for a long time, the pen will melt completely.

Precautions for use

If you are known to be allergic to one of the ingredients, Stryphnasal N nasal sticks should not be used.Hypersensitivity reactions cannot be ruled out during use; the pens should not be used again.As long as the nasal pin is in the nose, the patient should sit or stand and not lie down.When used on children, care must be taken not to push the nose pin too deep into the nostril.Severe or frequent nosebleeds or nosebleeds after accidents can have serious causes.In these cases, the cause must be clarified by a specialist.

Important notes

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the folding box and plastic mold.Do not use this pack after this date.Stop using the Stryphnasal N nose pins if they have melted in the mold due to heat and have taken on a sharp shape.Do not reuse used Stryphnasal N nasal pins.Stryphnasal N nasal pins should be stored protected from heat (sunlight or heating).Keep out of the reach of children.Do not store above 25°C!
