Lenscare saline solution is an inexpensive addition to rinsing contact lenses and is also ideal for using protein removal tablets.It is suitable for all hard and soft contact lenses.

Area of application

The Lenscare saline solution is used for rinsing, putting on and temporarily storing contact lenses, for example for transport.It can also be used safely when using protein removal tablets.

Mode of action

Tap water is not suitable for rinsing contact lenses as it can leave behind limescale residue that affects the quality of vision.In addition, tap water can contain pathogens that enter the eye through the contact lenses and cause infections.The Lenscare saline solution, on the other hand, is sterile, buffered and isotonic.It contains the same amount of dissolved salts as the tear film and is pH neutral.

The Lenscare saline solution contains 1.1 milligrams of disodium edetate per milliliter of solution, which corresponds to 0.96 milligrams of edetic acid.It is also an isotonic, pyrogen-free and sterile sodium chloride solution.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

All contact lenses should be rinsed with saline after cleaning and before insertion.This removes care product residues and annoying impurities.
