Ocusalin 5% UD

Occusalin 5% UD is a sterile, hypertonic saline solution.This solution removes excess fluid from the cornea, thereby improving vision.The product is used after eye surgery, diagnostic procedures on the eye or for corneal edema.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

To open the bottle, remove the safety ring by pulling the pre-made tab.Then lift the cap up.Tilt your head back slightly, look up and put a drop into the conjunctival sac.Close your eyes slowly to allow the fluid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.

If necessary, you can repeat the process on both eyes 3 to 5 times a day.You should coordinate the dosage and duration of use with your ophthalmologist.

Notes

Do not use Ocusalin 5% UD eye drops without a doctor's recommendation.Do not use the eye drops if the bottle or signet ring is damaged.Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date.After first opening, you should not use the eye drops for longer than 90 days.

Due to the innovative sterile filter system of the drip insert, a small amount always remains in the bottle.Store the bottle at 2°C to 25°C and protect it from frost.Store the bottle in the original box, protected from light.

The eye drops contain sodium chloride 5% and water for injections.

Effect and tolerability

Ocusalin effectively reduces corneal swelling.The sterile, hypertonic sodium chloride solution removes excess fluid from the edematous cornea and thus improves vision.The product is primarily used after eye surgeries such as cataract surgery and diagnostic eye procedures in which the osmotic balance of the corneal tissue has been disrupted.

Ocusalin is free of preservatives and is particularly well tolerated after operations.
