Oxyal eye drops are a product to moisturise the surface of the eye and relieve the symptoms of dry eye. Dry eyes can manifest with symptoms such as fatigue, burning, feelings of stress and reddened eyes. Oxyal contains hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the tear film and is known for its moisturising properties. In combination with the polymer PEG 8000, Oxyal eye drops moisturise the surface of the eye in a particularly long-lasting way and ensure that the eyelids glide better on the eye. The electrolytes contained and the hypotonic property of Oxyal help to alleviate the symptoms of dry eye and support the restoration of the physiological balance of the tear film and the ocular surface. Oxyal contains an innovative preservative that breaks down into natural components of the tear film on the ocular surface. Oxyal is applied as needed and can be used as frequently as desired on a daily basis. Oxyal is suitable for all types of contact lenses and can be applied during wear. It is applied by removing the protective cap, gently pulling back the lower eyelid and carefully instilling a drop into the eye. Oxyal can be used for 2 months after first opening. A period of about 15 minutes should be allowed between the use of different eye preparations. Oxyal is available in bottles of 10 ml.
