The HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops provide long-lasting relief from dryness, irritation and minor irritations.Due to their composition, they support cell regeneration and can be used if you feel dry and to support cell regeneration.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Dry and irritated eyes are often caused by reduced or impaired production of tear fluid, which moistens the cornea and flushes foreign bodies out of the eye.Common causes include working for long periods of time at a computer screen, wearing contact lenses or certain illnesses and medications.External influences such as dry indoor air and pollutants in the air can also affect the formation of the protective tear film.Eye drops with hyaluronic acid have proven themselves as tear substitutes.The HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops also contain allantoin and are ideal for long-lasting relief from feelings of dryness, irritation and minor irritations.The medium-viscosity solution is well tolerated and easy to use thanks to the innovative SafeDrop® system.The eye drops can also be used to moisten hard and soft contact lenses, which can significantly improve wearing comfort.

Mode of action

The HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops provide improved and long-lasting moisturization and protection of the surface of the eye.They contain 0.2% hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that also occurs in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film and is therefore particularly well tolerated.Hyaluronic acid has a high water-binding capacity and adheres well to the surface of the eye thanks to its mucoadhesive properties.In this way, the eye drops moisturize and protect the surface of the eyes and create an even, stable and particularly long-lasting moisture film.The eye drops also contain allantoin, a plant-based active ingredient that is obtained, for example, from comfrey and has a calming and nourishing effect.In combination with hyaluronic acid, allantoin helps retain moisture.The composition of the HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops supports natural cell regeneration as a beneficial moisturizer.The eye drops are phosphate-free and contain no preservatives.After opening, they can be kept for another 6 months.

The HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops contain highly purified sodium hyaluronate (0.20%), allantoin, sodium chloride, citrate buffer and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of the HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops: Before the first use, document the date of opening in the space provided on the bottle label and remove the protective cap.Before using the SafeDrop® bottle for the first time, press several times until the first drop is produced, holding the bottle upside down.Avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and eyes.Hold the bottle as shown in the illustration with your thumb resting on the wide, round, non-slip rest.Tilt your head back slightly (neck position) and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye with your free hand.Instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye by activating the pump mechanism once or twice.Hold the bottle vertically and slowly close your eyes so that the eye drops can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.Close the bottle with the protective cap after each use.

Use with contact lenses: If the HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops are used in conjunction with contact lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops to each contact lens before inserting, instead of putting the drops directly into the eyes.The eye drops can also be used while wearing contact lenses.

NOTE: To avoid the transmission of infections, the same bottle of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus should not be used by multiple people.
