HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus - Moisturizing & protective eye drops

These eye drops provide long-lasting relief from dryness, irritation and minor irritations.Due to their composition, they support cell regeneration and can be used if you feel dry and to support cell regeneration.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Dry and irritated eyes are often caused by reduced or impaired production of tear fluid, which moistens the cornea and flushes foreign bodies out of the eye.Common causes include working for long periods of time at a computer screen, wearing contact lenses or certain illnesses and medications.External influences such as dry indoor air and pollutants in the air can also affect the formation of the protective tear film.Eye drops with hyaluronic acid have proven themselves as tear substitutes. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus also contains allantoin and is ideal for long-lasting relief from feelings of dryness, irritation and minor irritations.The medium-viscosity solution is well tolerated and easy to use thanks to the innovative SafeDrop® system.The eye drops can also be used to moisten hard and soft contact lenses, which can significantly improve wearing comfort.

Mode of action

HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus provides improved and long-lasting moisturization and protection of the surface of the eye.The eye drops contain 0.2% hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that also occurs in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film and is therefore particularly well tolerated.Hyaluronic acid is characterized by its high water-binding capacity.Thanks to mucoadhesive properties, it adheres well to the surface of the eye.This means that HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus moisturizes and protects the surface of the eyes and ensures an even, stable and particularly long-lasting moisture film.The eye drops also contain allantoin.The herbal active ingredient, which is obtained from comfrey, for example, has a calming and nourishing effect.In combination with hyaluronic acid, allantoin helps retain moisture.Due to its composition, HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus supports natural cell regeneration as a beneficial moisturizer.The eye drops are phosphate-free and contain no preservatives.After opening, HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus has a shelf life of 6 months.

HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus contains: Highly purified sodium hyaluronate (0.20%), allantoin, sodium chloride, citrate buffer, purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus: Please document the opening date in the space provided on the bottle label before the first use.Remove the protective cap before use.Before using the SafeDrop® bottle for the first time, press several times until the first drop is produced.Hold the bottle upside down as shown in the illustration.Please avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and eyes.Hold the bottle as shown in the illustration.Make sure your thumb rests on the wide, round, non-slip rest.Now put your head back a little (neck position) and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand.Instill 1 to 2 drops of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus into the conjunctival sac of each eye by activating the pump mechanism once or twice.Make sure to hold the bottle vertically.Slowly close your eyes so that HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.Close the bottle with the protective cap after each use.

Use with contact lenses: If you are using HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops in conjunction with contact lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops to each contact lens before inserting instead of putting the drops directly into the eyes. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus can also be dripped while wearing contact lenses.To avoid the transmission of infections, the same bottle of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus should not be used by multiple people.

Application

In general, adults and adolescents drip 1 - 2 drops of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times daily.

Notes

If you use medicines on your eyes as directed by a doctor, there should be an interval of approx. 30 minutes between using the medicine and HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus should be applied after the other products. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops are suitable for use in adults and adolescents.Small children as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their ophthalmologist before using HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus.Use HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus as needed or as directed by your eye doctor.The eye drops are well tolerated and suitable for long-term use.As with all illnesses, however, if symptoms persist for a long time or frequently recur, an ophthalmologist should be consulted to rule out other illnesses that require treatment.After using HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops, visual acuity may temporarily be impaired (blurred vision).In this case you should not drive a vehicle or operate machines.Wait until normal visual acuity returns.
