Area of application

Hysan nasal ointment is used to care for and moisten the nose, especially for colds and flu-like infections.The ointment forms a protective film in the area of the nasal entrance, which prevents soreness and protects the sensitive skin from damaging environmental influences.It is free of preservatives and therefore well tolerated.The nasal ointment is also suitable for long-term use and can be used on infants, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

- Dry nose

- Wonderful nose

- Runny nose

- Chronic, persistent runny noses

Mode of action

Hysan nasal ointment contains vitamin A and an ointment base made from wool wax and white petroleum jelly.This composition forms a long-lasting protective film on the affected skin on the nose and upper lip.When applied, the skin is provided with soothing moisturization and care.The natural regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes is supported, and bark and crusts in the front area of the nose are gently loosened.

Hysan nasal ointment is a sterile, preservative-free ointment that contains the following ingredients:

- 138 µg/g retinol palmitate (equivalent to 250 IU/g vitamin A)

- Thick paraffin

- Thin liquid paraffin

- Wool wax

- White Vaseline

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, Hysan nasal ointment should not be used.If you experience hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or redness, use should be discontinued.

Dosage

Recommended use:

1. Unscrew the protective cap.

2. Apply a small strand of ointment by applying gentle pressure to the tube.

3. Apply carefully either directly with the tip of the tube or after application to a clean fingertip in the area of the nasal entrance and upper lip.Remove the nasal ointment by gently squeezing the tube without kinking or rolling it up.

4. After use, you should always wipe the tube tip with a clean tissue to reduce the risk of infection the next time you use it.

The frequency of application depends on the individual complaints.If the nose feels dry, the nasal ointment is usually used three times a day, but if the symptoms are more severe, it can also be used more frequently.

Notes

Hysan nasal ointment should be stored at room temperature (15-25°C).After opening, the ointment can be used for 6 months.Keep the nasal ointment out of the reach of children.No prescription is required for this product.
