HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops offer natural eye lubrication with hyaluronic acid.This substance occurs in structures of the eye and in the tear film and is therefore particularly well tolerated.Hyaluronic acid is characterized by a high water-binding capacity, is viscoelastic and adheres well to the surface of the eye due to its mucoadhesive properties.The eye drops moisten, moisten and protect the surface of the eye and ensure an even, stable and particularly long-lasting moisture film.This alleviates typical symptoms of dry eyes.The eye drops are phosphate-free and contain no preservatives.After opening the bottle, the eye drops have a shelf life of 6 months.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops are moistening eye drops that are used to moisten and protect the surface of the eye.Various conditions such as working on a PC, wearing contact lenses, dry indoor air, environmental stress or certain illnesses can influence the eye, so that, for example, it is no longer moistened with sufficient tear fluid.Typical symptoms include burning, watery and red eyes.An unpleasant foreign body feeling is also possible, which is referred to as a grain of sand feeling. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops contain 0.1% hyaluronic acid (medium viscosity) and can be used for feelings of dryness and environmental disorders of the eye. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops has a SafeDrop® system, a preservative-free multi-dose container.Thanks to the practical wide finger rest, it offers optimal use. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops is free of preservatives and phosphate-free. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops is suitable for hard and soft contact lenses.

Mode of action

HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops contains hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that also occurs in structures of the human eye.Hyaluronic acid has a high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the surface of the eye (mucoadhesive properties) and is viscoelastic.This moisturizes, moistens and protects the surface of the eye and creates an even, stable and particularly long-lasting moisture film.With HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops, long-lasting relief from feelings of dryness and environmental disorders of the eye can be achieved.

HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops contains: sodium hyaluronate (0.10%), sorbitol, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid, purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops: Please document the opening date in the space provided on the bottle label before the first use.Remove the protective cap before each use.Before using the SafeDrop® bottle for the first time, press several times until the first drop is produced.Hold the bottle upside down as shown in the illustration.Please avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and eyes.Hold the bottle as shown in the picture.Make sure your thumb rests on the wide, non-slip, round finger rest.Now put your head back a little (neck position) and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand.Instill one to two drops of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye by activating the pump mechanism once or twice.Make sure that the bottle is held vertically.Slowly close your eyes so that HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.Alternatively, if the drops are used in conjunction with contact lenses, apply one to two drops to each contact lens before placing them in your eyes, rather than putting the drops directly into your eyes. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops can also be dripped while wearing contact lenses.After use, the multi-dose container must be closed with the protective cap.

Patient information

Use HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops as needed or as directed by your doctor. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops are suitable for long-term use, but - as with all illnesses - you should consult an ophthalmologist for advice if symptoms persist for a long time. In the case of additional local treatment of the eyes, there should be an interval of approx. 30 minutes between the two applications. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® 0.1% eye drops should be applied after the other products.
