ADAPTIC non-adherent wound dressing is a primary dressing made of woven cellulose.This cellulose is impregnated with a special petroleum jelly emulsion.The bandage measures 3" x 8.

The effect of the ADAPTIC non-adhesive wound dressing is particularly gentle.The unique cellulose acetate grid protects the newly formed tissue during dressing changes by minimizing tissue trauma.This reduces the risk of sticking and maceration.

The pore size of the dressing allows exudate to flow freely into the secondary dressing.This reduces the risk of exudate accumulation and maceration in the wound.It also reduces the risk of sticking to the wound, both the ADAPTIC non-adhesive wound dressing and the secondary dressing.

Indications

ADAPTIC non-adhesive wound dressing can be used on various types of wounds, including dry to heavily exuding wounds.These include first and second degree burns, lacerations and abrasions, transplants, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, nail extractions, eczema, punches and sutures, and wounds following surgical and reconstructive procedures.
