Area of application

The mouth balm gel is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for diseases of the mouth and throat.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it serves to harmonize the build-up and breakdown processes in acute and chronic recurrent inflammatory mucous membrane disorders in the mouth area.

10 g of the mouth balm gel contains the following active ingredients: Antimonite Trit.D4 0.1 g, Argentum nitricum Dil.D19 aquos.(HAB, Vs. 5b) 0.1 g, Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D13 (HAB, Vs. 33a) 0.1 g, Echinacea pallida e planta tota ferm 33c Dil.D3 (HAB, Vs. 33c) 0.1 g, Quartz Dil.D20 aquos.0.1 g and Rosae aetheroleum 0.005 g.Components 2 to 5 are raised to the power together over three levels.

Other ingredients include cassia oil, chlorophyll-copper complex, aqueous extract of marshmallow root, refined peanut oil, ethanol 96%, glycerol, ginger oil, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, marjoram oil, sodium alginate, sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate, clove oil, peppermint oil, Dalmatian sage oil, refined sunflower oil, tea tree oil and purified water.The medicine contains lactose.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients, peanut oil, soy or any of the other ingredients or to other composite plants.Based on theoretical considerations, the risk of deterioration due to the immune-stimulating effect of echinacea in advanced systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, rheumatic diseases of the connective tissue, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, other autoimmune diseases and juvenile type I diabetes cannot be excluded.In these cases, the mouth balm should only be used after consulting your doctor.The medicine must not be used in infants and small children under 2 years of age as there is a risk of laryngeal spasm.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the gel should be applied to the mucous membranes and necks of the teeth several times a day, especially before going to bed, after thoroughly cleaning the teeth.The medicine should not be used for longer than 8 weeks without medical advice.

Intake

The gel is intended for application to the oral mucosa and the necks of teeth.After application, you should breathe through your mouth for a short time without rinsing.If the dentures cause pressure problems, they should be coated with the gel before insertion.
