Instructions for use for Siozwo® nasal rinse preservative-free

Siozwo® nasal rinse is a product for the mild and tolerable cleansing of the nasal mucosa.It is suitable for refreshing cleansing in cases of rhinitis or increased dust pollution in the air we breathe, for moistening the nasal mucosa in dry air, and for caring for and maintaining the health of the nose.The specific properties of Ringer's solution ensure best cilia compatibility.The product is preservative-free, easy to use and suitable for adults and children.

Area of application

Siozwo® nasal rinse is used to clean and gently rinse the nasal cavity, for example to loosen crusts, in cases of increased air pollution such as dust and dirt, and as an accompanying measure for a cold.It is also suitable for moistening the nasal mucosa when the humidity is low, for example in heated or air-conditioned rooms.If there is increased exposure to pollen or house dust, hypersensitivity reactions can be reduced.Due to the sterile solution, the medicine is also suitable for use before and after nose operations.It is suitable for children aged 2 and over and adults.Due to the special container of the preparation, no preservatives are necessary.The spray head is adapted to the natural shape of the nostril to avoid injuries during use.

The nasal rinse contains 8.6 mg sodium chloride, 0.33 mg calcium chloride, 0.3 mg potassium chloride and water for injection purposes as an excipient.

Contraindications

There are no restrictions on the use of Siozwo® nasal irrigation.

Dosage

Depending on your needs, 1 to 2 sprays can be sprayed into each nostril several times a day.Children should be used by an adult.Please stick to the dosage specified or recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.The preparation can also be used over a longer period of time if necessary.It may only be used until the date marked on the container.After opening it should not be used for longer than 6 weeks.

Intake

The container works in every situation.Hold your head over the sink and tilt it slightly forward and to the side.Insert the spray opening into the upper nostril and activate the spray head.Then turn your head to the other side and spray on the other nostril.Then blow or wipe your nose.Repeat the process if necessary.For hygienic reasons, the spray head should be wiped off and kept dry after use.The medicine should only be used by one person at a time.Please note that the contents of the container are sterile, but not the container and the nasal adapter.

Patient information

When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary.However, after nose surgery, the advice of the treating doctor should be sought before using the product.

Pregnancy

There are no concerns about using Siozwo® nasal irrigation during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
