Elderflowers, medicinal tea.No prescription is required for this product.Elderflowers are a herbal medicine that is used for colds.It is used for catarrhal diseases of the upper respiratory tract.If symptoms last longer than three days, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted.

Areas of application

Elderflowers are used for colds and flu-like infections.The medicinal tea is suitable for children aged 12 and over and adults.

Dosage and instructions for use

Teenagers aged 12 and over and adults should use three grams (two teaspoons) of elderflower three to five times a day, regardless of meals.To prepare the tea, pour about 150 milliliters of boiling water over two teaspoons of elderflower flowers and strain them through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.The tea should be drunk as hot as possible.The medicine should not be used for longer than three days without medical advice.There are no known symptoms of overdose.If in doubt, a doctor should be consulted.Particular attention should be paid to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people.A dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet and should therefore be used according to his instructions.

Contraindications

Storage
