Areas of application

Chelidonium comp.Eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for dry conjunctivitis and eye fatigue.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, the eye drops serve to harmonize the metabolic processes in the eye, especially in dry inflammation, irritation and fatigue.

Active ingredients and ingredients

0.5 ml of the eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Chelidonium majus e radice ferm 34b Dil.D3 (0.017 g), Chelidonium majus ex herba ferm 34b Dil.D3 (0.033 g), Rosa e floribus ferm cum Ferro Dil.D3 (0.05 g), Ruta graveolens ex herba ferm 33c Dil.D3 (0.05 g) and Terebinthina laricina Dil.D5 (0.05g).The other ingredients are sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Contraindications

There are no contraindications to the use of Chelidonium comp.Eye drops known.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the eye drops should be instilled 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 2 to 3 times a week, in acute cases up to 2 times a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.

Application note

To open a container, it should be separated from the latch and opened by twisting off the flat wing.The head should be tilted back.With the index finger of one hand, the lower eyelid of the eye should be pulled down slightly.With the other hand, a drop of the liquid should be dispensed into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.The single-dose container should not come into contact with the eye.The eye should then be kept as open as possible and moved so that the liquid is distributed well.

Patient information

Before using the eye drops, you should be examined by an ophthalmologist.If you experience severe pain in the eye area or a sudden loss of vision, you should consult a doctor immediately.If symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear, a doctor should also be consulted.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Chelidonium comp.Eye drops should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Side effects

In a few cases, local hypersensitivity and intolerance reactions such as redness of the eyes have been reported.
