Area of application

Mercurialis eye drops are an anthroposophic medicine used for eye diseases.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, they can be used to stimulate the fluid organism in the eye area in cases of dry conjunctivitis and lack of tears.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The eye drops contain the active ingredients Mercurialis perennis ferm 34c Dil.D3 and Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7.The other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

To date, there are no known contraindications to the use of Mercurialis eye drops.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac 1 to 3 times a day, up to two hours a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.

Intake

The eye drops should be used according to the drip instructions.This includes tilting the head back, pulling the lower eyelid with the index finger and dosing a drop into the conjunctival sac.The single-dose container should not come into contact with the eye.The eye should then be kept as open as possible and moved so that the liquid is distributed well.

Patient information

The use of the drug for eye inflammation should not be done without ophthalmological advice and does not replace other medications prescribed by the doctor in this regard.

Pregnancy

Like all medicines, Mercurialis eye drops should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

The eye drops can also be used when wearing contact lenses.Once opened, the eye drops in the single-dose containers are intended for single use only.The remaining amount in the container after use may no longer be used.
