Area of application
Wala Mercurialis ointment is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for purulent and poorly healing skin diseases.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it is used to harmonize the interaction between the organization of sensation and life in the skin and subcutaneous tissue in chronic inflammatory processes, purulent, poorly healing wounds and eczema.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The ointment contains the following active ingredients: Allium cepa ferm 34a Ø, Calendula officinalis ex herba ferm 33c Ø and Mercurialis perennis ferm 34c Ø.Other ingredients include refined peanut oil, white petroleum jelly, purified water and wool wax.
Contraindications
Mercurialis ointment must not be used on fresh, open wounds or if there is hypersensitivity (allergy) to peanut oil, soy or any of the other ingredients.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment should be applied thinly 1 to 3 times a day.Depending on the size of the affected area, a strand of ointment approximately 0.5 to 2 cm long is used.When used as an ointment bandage, the ointment is applied to gauze with a strand of ointment approximately 2 to 5 cm long and the inflamed area is covered with it for 24 hours.The ointment dressing should be renewed after 24 hours.The ointment must not be placed in the eye or applied to mucous membranes.
If no improvement is observed after a week of use, consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases and for children should be discussed with a doctor.
Intake
The ointment should be applied thinly.It is important not to put the ointment in the eye or apply it to mucous membranes.
Patient information
If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.After applying the ointment, hands should be thoroughly cleaned.
Pregnancy
Like all medicines, Mercurialis ointment should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.Wool wax can cause localized skin irritation.
Side effects
Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions.In rare cases, skin irritation may occur.
Other
Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Do not store/keep above 30°C!Stable for 16 weeks after opening.

10 g of the ointment contains: Allium cepa ferm 34a Ø 0.1 g, Calendula officinalis ex herba ferm 33c Ø 0.2 g, Mercurialis perennis ferm 34c Ø 0.5 g.Other ingredients include refined peanut oil, white petroleum jelly, purified water and wool wax.
Dosage form and pack sizes
The ointment is available in pack sizes of 30 g and 100 g.
