Contraindications

Zinkbrause Verla 25 mg must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to zinc sulfate or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.There is no specific dosage information for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Dosage

Adults should take half to one whole effervescent tablet (corresponding to 12.5 to 25 mg zinc) daily.The effervescent tablet should be dissolved in half a glass of water and the contents should be drunk completely.It is recommended to take the preparation about an hour before meals so as not to interfere with the absorption of zinc.The duration of use depends on the severity of the zinc deficiency.Overdose may cause symptoms such as a metallic taste on the tongue, headache, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.In this case, you should stop taking it and consult a doctor.
