Instructions for use of Arnica Planta Tota Rh D3 eye drops
Arnica Planta Tota Rh D3 eye drops are an anthroposophic medicine that is used for various eye diseases.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it is used to stimulate and harmonize the metabolic and form processes in the event of tissue and organ damage, especially after mechanical influences and disruptions to the blood supply.Areas of application include bleeding of the conjunctiva, concomitant treatment for bleeding from the vitreous body or retina, bruises of the eyeball, blunt injuries and bruises under the conjunctiva (hyposphagma).
No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredient and composition
The eye drops contain the active ingredient Arnica, Planta tota Rh Dil.D3 at a concentration of 10 g per 10.2 g (10 ml).Other ingredients include boric acid, sodium tetraborate and potassium nitrate for isotonization as well as oligodynamic silver preservation.
Application and dosage
Arnica Planta Tota Rh D3 eye drops should always be used according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dosage is 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 1-3 times a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment should be discussed with your doctor.
Precautions and contraindications
The eye drops must not be used if you are hypersensitive to arnica or other composite plants or to the other ingredients.Before use, an examination by an ophthalmologist should be carried out.If you experience severe pain in the eye area or a sudden loss of vision, you should consult an ophthalmologist immediately.The eye drops should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.
Side effects
In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur.In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
Storage and notices
The eye drops should not be stored above 30°C and should not be used for longer than 4 weeks after first opening.Before first use, the original closure should be torn open using the tab provided.When closed, the bottle should be briefly shaken upside down.The protective cap should be pushed back on tightly immediately after applying the drops.
The eye drops are compatible with contact lens wearers.However, it is recommended to remove the lenses before application and only reinsert them after approx. 30 minutes.
