Instructions for use of Belladonna/Betula/Formica eye drops

Belladonna/Betula/Formica eye drops are an anthroposophic medicine that is used as an adjunctive treatment for vitreous opacity and cataracts.The areas of application are based on anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.

Active ingredients

The eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Belladonna Rh D6, Betula, Folium D3 and Formica D6.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications and precautions

There are no known contraindications.It should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor.If you have persistent or unclear symptoms, you should consult a doctor.The eye drops should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.However, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using other medicines.

Application

Always use the eye drops exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose is 1 drop in the conjunctival sac morning and evening.The duration of treatment should be discussed with the doctor.Before first use, tear open the original cap using the tab provided and briefly shake the bottle upside down.Remove the protective cap, put the drops into the eye and immediately press the protective cap firmly back on.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

Side effects

So far there are no known side effects.Reporting side effects can help provide more information about the safety of the drug.

Storage and shelf life

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.After first opening, the eye drops should not be used for longer than 4 weeks.Enter the opening date in the field provided.Do not store the eye drops above 30°C.

Composition

10 g (= 10 ml) contain the active ingredients Belladonna Rh Dil.D6, Betula, Folium Dil.D3 and Formica Dil.D6.Other ingredients include potassium nitrate, boric acid, sodium tetraborate and oligodynamic silver preservation.
