No prescription is required for this product.Chelidonium Rh D4 eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine to stimulate tear secretion.It is used for dry conjunctiva and dry conjunctivitis, in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.

Areas of application

Chelidonium eye drops Rh D4 (pack size: 10 ml) help with dry eyes.Dry eyes can be uncomfortable and painful as the conjunctiva becomes dry and rubs against the eye.You have the feeling that there is a foreign body in your eye.This can be made worse by having air conditioning in the room or working on a computer.You can moisten your eyes again with Chelidonium eye drops Rh D4.The Chelidonium Rh D4 contained in Chelidonium eye drops Rh D4 promotes the synthesis of the tear film so that your eyes are moistened again in the long term.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 ml Chelidonium eye drops Rh D4 (pack size: 10 ml) contains: Chelidonium majus Rh 1 g.Other ingredients of Chelidonium eye drops Rh D4 (pack size: 10 ml) are potassium nitrate, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, oligodynamic silver preservation and water for injections.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.There are no other known contraindications.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed, you should instill Chelidonium Rh D4 eye drops three times a day, one drop into the conjunctival sac.To do this, pull the lower eyelid down slightly and drip into the resulting gap.To avoid an overdose, you should not exceed the dose stated in the package leaflet.If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.

Precautions and special instructions

Before using the drug, an examination by an ophthalmologist should be carried out.If your vision decreases or if you have long-lasting or unclear symptoms, you must also see a doctor.Chelidonium Rh D4 eye drops should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no sufficiently documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Chelidonium Rh D4 should only be used after consulting a doctor.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

Side effects

Rarely, a temporary burning sensation may occur after the eye has been instilled.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.This also applies to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

Storage and shelf life

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.Do not use the eye drops for more than three months after first opening.Please enter the date in the space provided on the label and folding box.

For contact lens wearers

Chelidonium Rh D4 eye drops are compatible with contact lenses.However, some manufacturers recommend that you generally remove the lenses before applying eye drops and only reinsert them after about 30 minutes.You should then follow this recommendation, which may be related to certain lens material.
