Cineraria maritima D3 eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used to harmonize the intervention of the sensory organization in the life organization of the eye.This can be helpful for various eye problems, such as cataracts or dry conjunctivitis.

Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in Cineraria maritima D3 eye drops is Cineraria maritima, Herba Dil.D3 (HAB, v. 3c).In addition, the preparation contains boric acid, sodium tetraborate and is isotonized with potassium nitrate.The preservation is carried out by oligodynamic silver preservation.

Application and dosage

Cineraria maritima D3 eye drops should always be used exactly as directed by your doctor.The usual dosage is 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 1-3 times daily.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment must be agreed with your doctor.

Precautions and contraindications

Cineraria maritima D3 must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to Cineraria maritima or other composite plants.If symptoms persist or recur, an ophthalmologist should be consulted.In children under 12 years of age, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.Consultation with your doctor is also necessary during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage and shelf life

Application instructions

Cineraria maritima D3 eye drops are generally compatible with contact lenses.However, it is recommended that you remove the lenses before use and only reinsert them after about 30 minutes.
