Instructions for use for Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.

Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used for diseases of the musculoskeletal system.The areas of application include sciatica pain, acute intervertebral disc damage and lumbago.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients

The active ingredients in Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.are Apis mellifica D6, Arnica Planta tota Rh D6 and Levisticum officinale Rh D6.Each ampoule contains 0.334 g of each active ingredient, potentiated together in the final stage.The drug is isotonized with sodium chloride.

Application

Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.should always be used exactly as directed by your doctor.The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1 ml subcutaneously 2 to 3 times a week to once a day.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 to 3 days, you should see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with your doctor.

Precautions

Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.must not be used if you are hypersensitive to bee venom, arnica or other composite plants.In acute conditions with redness, swelling or overheating of joints as well as persistent or frequently recurring symptoms, a doctor should be consulted.

For children under 12 years of age, Arnica/Levisticum D6 comp.cannot be used because there is no sufficiently documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Side effects

Sensitized people may very rarely experience hypersensitivity reactions and redness around the injection site.In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Additional information

The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.The pack size is 8 ampoules of 1 ml each of liquid dilution for injection.
