Active ingredients of cratae-Loges® 450 mg hawthorn film-coated tablets: 1 film-coated tablet contains the active ingredient: dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers [4-7:1] 450 mg.Extractant: Ethanol 45% (V/V).

The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, colloidal silicon dioxide, purified water, microcrystalline cellulose, hydrogenated castor oil, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), stearic acid, hypromellose, talc, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide E 171, iron(III)oxide E 172.

Note for diabetics: The amount of carbohydrates consumed in 1 daily dose (= 2 film-coated tablets) corresponds to 0.34 BE.

Area of application

cratae-Loges® 450 mg hawthorn film-coated tablets is a herbal medicine for heart disease.It is used when the heart's performance declines according to stage II to NYHA.

Dosage

Recommended use of cratae-Loges® 450 mg hawthorn film-coated tablets: Always take cratae-Loges® 450 mg hawthorn exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 film-coated tablet twice a day.

Do not take film-coated tablets while lying down.Please take the film-coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably 1 glass of drinking water [200 ml]).

It is recommended to take the medicine for a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months.The treating doctor should then determine the further duration of use.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of cratae-Loges® 450 mg hawthorn is too strong or too weak.

Intake

To be taken.Please take the film-coated tablet whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).Do not take the film-coated tablet while lying down.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

The widespread use of hawthorn as a medicine has not yet resulted in any evidence of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, there are no results from experimental studies.The medicine should therefore not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
