Hepar-Stannum D4 is an anthroposophic medicine used to treat liver diseases.It serves as a basic remedy for liver therapy, especially in fatty liver, chronic liver inflammation and liver cirrhosis, in order to balance solidifying and dissolving tendencies.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredient and composition

The active ingredient in Hepar-Stannum D4 is Hepar bovis - Stannum hydroxydatum (8:2) Dil.D4.One ampoule contains 1 ml of this liquid dilution for injection.The composition also includes sodium chloride for isotonization.The mother tincture is potentized with honey and purified water.

Application and dosage

Hepar-Stannum should always be used as directed by your doctor.The usual dosage is 1 ml 2 to 3 times weekly, injected subcutaneously.The appropriate potency level is determined individually by the doctor.The injection is typically carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.It is recommended to learn the injection technique from an experienced person.

Precautions and contraindications

Hepar-Stannum must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to bovine protein.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.There is insufficient experience for children under 12 years of age, so the medicine should not be used at this age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Hepar-Stannum should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Instructions for storage and use

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoule and carton.If you forget to use it, you should not use a double dose.If you are unsure about its use, your doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.
