Areas of application

Rhus toxicodendron D6 is a registered homeopathic medicine and is used without specifying a specific therapeutic indication.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to poisonous sumac plants.

Precautions for use

Rhus toxicodendron liquid dilution for injection should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no sufficiently documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medicines

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Application

The appropriate potency level is selected by the doctor based on the respective clinical picture and prescribed individually.The subcutaneous injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, a fold of skin is formed and the injection needle is inserted at an angle.If blood appears, the injection is repeated at another site.If no blood appears, inject slowly and then withdraw the needle.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Duration of application

The duration of treatment should be agreed with a doctor.

Side effects

Occasionally, harmless redness around the injection site and a temporary burning sensation may occur.In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Composition

1 Ampoule contains Rhus toxicodendron D6 or D30 in a liquid dilution with ethanol and isotonized with sodium chloride.The dosage form includes 8 ampoules of 1 ml each of liquid dilution for injection.

Notes

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
