Stannum metallicum praeparatum consists of liquid dilutions for injection.In accordance with the anthroposophic understanding of human beings and nature, this anthroposophic medicinal product is used to stimulate rhythmic balancing processes in various conditions.These include inflammatory conditions involving tissue breakdown and degenerative conditions involving hardening, particularly for the prevention of chronic secretions such as the formation of effusions in body cavities and joints.Further areas of application include liver disorders with a tendency towards hardening, depressive moods—especially those accompanied by emotional rigidity—as well as neuralgia and migraines.

No prescription is required for this product.

Important information

Stannum metallicum praeparatum D8 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.No contraindications are known for Stannum metallicum praeparatum D10 to D30.Use should not take place without medical advice, and it does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor.A doctor should be consulted in the event of persistent or unclear symptoms.

Stannum metallicum praeparatum liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in children under 6 years of age, as there is insufficient documented experience.Use in children aged 6 years and older and adolescents up to 18 years of age should not take place without medical advice.

As with all medicines, Stannum metallicum praeparatum should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using other medicines.

Administration

Always use Stannum metallicum praeparatum exactly as instructed by your doctor.Subcutaneous injection is usually performed in the thigh, the outer upper arm, or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, pinch a fold of skin and insert the needle at an angle.Pull back slightly on the syringe plunger.If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit;in this case, repeat the injection at a different site.If no blood appears, inject slowly, then withdraw the needle and briefly press a swab against the injection site.

Stannum metallicum praeparatum liquid dilutions for injection should not be used for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice.Do not use a double dose if you have missed a previous dose.

Side effects

Stannum metallicum praeparatum D8 may cause allergic reactions because it contains small amounts of milk protein.No side effects are known for the liquid dilutions for injection from potency D10 upwards.If you notice any side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

1 Ampoule contains: Active substance: Stannum metallicum praeparatum D8, D10, D20, or D30.Liquid dilutions for injection D8 and D10 contain sodium chloride as an excipient.Liquid dilutions for injection D20 and D30 are made isotonic with sodium chloride.

Dosage form and pack size: D8 - D30: 8 ampoules containing 1 ml of liquid dilution for injection.D8: 48 ampoules containing 1 ml of liquid dilution for injection.
