Instructions for use of Quercus Essence

Quercus essence is a tincture for external use.The active ingredient of this anthroposophical medicine is Quercus robur/petraea e cortice, Decoctum LA 10%.The product is used for hemorrhoids and chronic inflammatory skin diseases.Areas of application according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature include the stimulation of the form forces in the connective tissue area, demarcation disorders with exudative inflammatory processes, such as those that can occur with varicose veins, as well as hemorrhoids.In addition, Quercus Essence can be used for cracks in the skin and mucous membranes, cracked skin, dry and weeping eczema as well as allergic diathesis.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

Quercus Essence should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.

Precautions and warnings

In the case of major skin injuries, acute, unclear skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, heart failure and high blood pressure, full baths should only be used after consulting a doctor.Blood in the stool or bleeding from the intestinal anus area must always be clarified by a doctor.If symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no experience with the use of Quercus Essence during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Medicines containing tannins should only be used on small areas during pregnancy.Hemorrhoidal disease should only be treated after consulting a doctor.If used in the nipple area during breastfeeding, the skin should be carefully cleansed before breastfeeding.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, Quercus Essence can be used as follows: For poultices, add one tablespoon of the essence to about 1/4 liter of water.2 to 3 tablespoons of the essence are used for full baths, and correspondingly less for partial baths.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be discussed with a doctor.

Side effects

So far there are no known side effects.

Composition

10 Grams (10.3 milliliters) of Quercus essence contain 10 grams of the active ingredient Quercus robur/petraea e cortice, Decoctum LA 10% (HAB, Vs. 12k).

Quercus essence is available as a 100 milliliter tincture for external use.

Instructions for use

The processing of natural substances may cause slight clouding or precipitation.The tincture should be shaken before use.
