Mallow oil is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for exhaustion, weakness and during convalescence.It serves to stimulate the metabolic process in the event of nervous exhaustion.

Areas of application

Mallow oil is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, especially to stimulate the metabolic process in cases of nervous exhaustion, for example during convalescence.

Contraindications

Mallow oil must not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to geranium oil, any of the other active ingredients, peanut oil or soy.

Precautions and warnings

If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, mallow oil should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, you should rub 2 to 3 ml of oil 1 to 2 times a day or use a larger amount for massages based on your body size.

Duration of application

Treatment should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, you should consult a doctor.In the case of chronic illnesses, consultation with the doctor is necessary.

Side effects

Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions.Very rarely, photosensitization or redness of the skin may occur, requiring discontinuation of the drug.

Composition

10 g (11 ml) of oily rub contains the following active ingredients: Geranii aetheroleum 0.04 g, Malva arborea e floribus W 5% (HAB, vs. 12g with refined peanut oil) 1.25 g, oil extract from Hypericum perforatum, Herba rec.(4:1) Extractants: Refined peanut oil 1.25 g, Prunus spinosa e floribus W 5% (HAB, vs. 12g with refined peanut oil) 1.25 g, Sambucus nigra ex umbella W 5% (HAB, vs. 12g with refined peanut oil) 1.25 g, Tilia platyphyllos/cordata e floribus W5% (HAB, Vs. 12g with refined peanut oil) 1.25g.Other ingredient: Refined peanut oil.

Dosage form and pack sizes

Mallow oil is available as an oily rub in pack sizes of 50 ml and 100 ml.
