Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Tetesept milk thistle capsules is milk thistle fruit dry extract.One soft capsule contains 200 mg dry extract from partially deoiled milk thistle fruits (30-40:1), using ethanol 96% (V/V) as the extractant.The other ingredients include maltodextrin, highly disperse silicon dioxide, phospholipids from soybeans, refined soybean oil, refined coconut fat, refined palm kernel oil, yellow wax, milk fat (from cow's milk), gelatin, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) (Ph.Eur.), quinoline yellow (E104), titanium dioxide (E171), iron (III) hydroxide oxide(E172) and purified water.One soft capsule contains 23.48 mg sorbitol, which corresponds to 5.87 mg fructose.

Dosage and application

The usual dose for adults is 1 soft capsule twice daily.The soft capsules should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water, before meals.There are no sufficient studies on use in children and adolescents, so Tetesept milk thistle capsules should not be used in people under 18 years of age.If the cause is unclear, self-medication should be stopped after two weeks.If symptoms of the disease persist or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur, a doctor or other qualified person working in a medical profession should be consulted.

Contraindications

Tetesept milk thistle capsules must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.People with an allergy to peanuts, soy, legumes, lupinia, chlorophyll, cinnamon, birch, poplar buds, propolis, valerian, turmeric, rosin, cow's milk, beef protein or dyes such as quinoline yellow should be careful.Caution is also advised if you are known to be hypersensitive to fructose, as this can cause gastrointestinal problems.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.Tetesept milk thistle capsules may no longer be used after the “use by” expiry date stated on the folding box or blister.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.The capsules should not be stored above 25°C.
