Iberogast® Classic contains the natural active ingredients of nine different medicinal plants.These are:

Iberis Amara (Bitter Candytuft), angelica root, chamomile flowers, caraway fruits, milk thistle fruits, lemon balm leaves, peppermint leaves, celandine and licorice root.

The medicinal plant extracts also have an antioxidant effect that protects against cell damage.

Dosage

Iberogast® Classic is taken three times a day with some liquid, either before or with meals.The bottle should be shaken well before taking.

The dosage depends on age:

Children between 3 and 5 years take 10 drops each.Children between 6 and 12 years old take 15 drops each.Adolescents aged 13 and over and adults take 20 drops each.

Iberogast® Classic is available without a prescription and is available in two pack sizes: 20 milliliters for around 20 applications and 50 milliliters for around 50 applications.After opening the bottle, the preparation can be kept for up to eight weeks.

Iberogast® Classic is suitable for the treatment of functional and motility-related gastrointestinal diseases such as irritable stomach and irritable bowel syndrome as well as for the supportive treatment of the symptoms of inflammation of the gastric mucosa (gastritis).These diseases are primarily expressed in symptoms such as stomach pain, bloating, flatulence, gastrointestinal cramps, nausea and heartburn.

The medicine contains 31% alcohol by volume.
