Instructions for use of Sidroga chamomile flower tea

Sidroga chamomile flower tea is a medicinal tea with the active ingredient chamomile flowers, cut.This product is available without a prescription.It is traditionally used for mild gastrointestinal complaints such as bloating and flatulence as well as mild cramps in adults, adolescents and children aged 3 years and over.The tea can be used externally as an additive to moist compresses for superficial skin and mucous membrane inflammations.It is also suitable for rinsing for superficial inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, including the oral cavity and gums, as well as for inhalation and gargling for irritation of the respiratory tract, such as can occur with colds.

Areas of application

Sidroga chamomile flowers are used for mild cramp-like indigestion, inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis), inflammation of the gums (gingivitis), inflammation of the respiratory tract as well as irritation of the airways and skin inflammation, also due to bacteria.

Dosage and instructions for use

For adults, teenagers and children aged 3 years and over, the recommended dose is 1 to 2 tea bags, 3 to 4 times daily between meals.Children aged 6 and over and adults can use 2 to 7 tea bags several times a day.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The tea is poured over with boiling water, allowed to steep for 5 to 10 minutes and then drunk, used for rinsing or gargling, applied as a poultice or inhaled.

Contraindications

Sidroga chamomile flowers must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, including severe ones such as shortness of breath, swelling of the face, mouth or throat, circulatory collapse and allergic shock, are possible.In such cases the medicine should no longer be taken.

Composition

One filter bag contains 1.5 g of chamomile flowers, cut.No other components are included.

Mode of action

The ingredients in chamomile have an antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect.Used internally, chamomile relieves spasms in the digestive tract and promotes the passage of wind.Applied externally, it promotes wound healing and inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.Chamomile has an antispasmodic and anti-irritant effect in the upper respiratory tract.

Notes

Caution is advised if you are allergic to composite plants such as arnica, marigold, yarrow, echinacea and chamomile.No special storage conditions are required for this product.Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
