Description of Baldurat
Baldurat is a herbal medicine used to calm and aid sleep.The active ingredient in Baldurat is a dry extract from valerian roots.This remedy is used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The main active ingredient in Baldurat is valerian root dry extract, which is contained in an amount of 650 mg per tablet.This extract is made with ethanol 70% (v/v).In addition, Baldurat contains various excipients such as glucose, sucrose, talc, dextrin, calcium carbonate, silicon dioxide, highly dispersed, croscarmellose sodium, cellulose powder, hypromellose, arabic gum, titanium dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, tragacanth, shellac, yellow wax, carnauba wax, quinoline yellow and indigo carmine.
Areas of application
Baldurat is used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.The dry extract from valerian root contains various ingredients that can have a positive influence on the messenger aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA is a neurotransmitter that has calming properties and contributes to the initiation and maintenance of sleep.The exact mechanism of action is not yet fully understood, but it is believed that the ingredients of valerian root extract interact with GABA and enhance its effect.
Dosage and application
Baldurat should always be taken exactly as directed.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults take one coated tablet once a day to treat mild nervous tension.If you have trouble sleeping, it is recommended to take a tablet half an hour to an hour before going to bed.If necessary, an additional tablet can be taken in the early evening.The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid.Continuous use over 2-4 weeks is recommended to achieve optimal treatment success.If symptoms do not improve or worsen after two weeks of use, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
Contraindications
Baldurat should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.Children under 12 years of age should not take the medicine.Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid use unless specifically recommended by a doctor.Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not use Baldurat.
Side effects

Storage
Baldurat should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.The expiry date on the packaging should be noted.
Notes
