Glutamine Verla is a traditional medicine that is used to improve general well-being.This application is based on tradition and many years of experience.No prescription is required for this product.However, if you have any signs of illness or persistent symptoms, you should consult a doctor.

Active ingredient and areas of application

Glutamine Verla contains the active ingredient glutamic acid, a natural amino acid that is required for information transfer and metabolic processes in the body, especially in the brain.The medicine is traditionally used to improve general well-being.

Preparation for intake

Glutamine Verla must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to glutamic acid or any of the other ingredients or if you have severe pathological increases in urges and emotions, unless your doctor has expressly permitted this.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Glutamine Verla contains sucrose and glucose.If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, you should only take the medicine after consulting your doctor.

Application

Always take Glutamine Verla exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 2-8 coated tablets daily, and for children aged 6 and over 2-6 coated tablets daily.The tablets should only be taken whole in the morning and at lunchtime with a little liquid.

In the event of an overdose, the symptoms mentioned under side effects may increase.In this case, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted if necessary.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Glutamine Verla can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.At high doses, urge to move and sleep disorders can occur.In this case, reduce the dose or stop taking it until the side effects disappear.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the side effects listed get serious or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.

Storage

Keep Glutamine Verla out of the reach of children and do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister pack.The medicine should not be stored above 25°C.

Glutamine Verla contains 330 mg of glutamic acid per coated tablet.The other ingredients are gelatin, glycerol 85%, potato starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, talc, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, sucrose, calcium carbonate, macrogol 35000, povidone (K 25), potassium dihydrogen phosphate, glucose syrup, arabic gum, macrogol 6000, montan glycol wax, vanillin, iron (III) oxide and iron(II,III)-oxide.The medicine does not contain gluten or lactose.

Note for diabetics: 1 coated tablet contains 0.1 g of usable carbohydrates (0.01 BE).

Glutamine Verla is available in packs of 50, 100, 250 and 1000 coated tablets.
