Doppelherz Energy Tonic Cardiovascular is a traditional herbal medicine to support cardiovascular function during nervous stress.It is a traditional medicine that is registered for this area of application solely based on long-term use.

Mode of action

The energy tonic uses the power of selected medicinal plants to support the body and vital functions.The combination of hawthorn, rosemary, valerian and lemon balm has a preventive effect and strengthens the heart and circulation, especially during nervous stress.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in 100 ml (106 g) of liquid are:

500 mg fluid extract from lemon balm leaves (1:1), extractant: ethanol 30% (m/m), 500 mg fluid extract from rosemary leaves (1:1), extractant: ethanol 19% (V/V), 500 mg fluid extract from valerian root (1:1), extractant: ethanol 40% (m/m), 1100 mg fluid extract from hawthorn fruits (1:2),Extracting agent: ethanol 60% (v/v), 544 mg thick extract from hawthorn fruits (2 - 5: 1), extracting agent: ethanol 50% (m/m).

The other ingredients are: honey, invert sugar solution, glycerol 85%, caramel, fortified wine, potassium disulfite, ethanol, purified water.

Dosage and application

Always take Doppelherz Energy Tonic Cardiovascular exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose for adults is 1 measuring cup (20 ml) 3 times a day (morning, lunch and evening) before meals and, if necessary, 1 measuring cup (20 ml) once a day before going to bed.The use in children and adolescents is not indicated.

The liquid is intended for ingestion.The duration of application is in principle not limited.If the cause is unclear, self-medication should be stopped after two weeks.

Side effects

After taking Doppelherz Energy Tonic Cardiovascular, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and abdominal cramps may occur.Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash can also occur.Potassium disulfite can rarely cause hypersensitivity reactions and bronchospasm.

Contraindications

Doppelherz Energy Tonic Cardiovascular must not be used if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients, potassium disulfite or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.The medicine should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Warnings

This medicine contains 17% alcohol by volume.If the dosage instructions are followed, up to 2.9 g of alcohol will be consumed with each intake (1 measuring cup = 20 ml).There is a particular health risk for people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, brain damage, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children.The effect of other medicines may be impaired or increased.

If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should consider the sugar content.1 measuring cup (20 ml) corresponds to 0.3 bread units (BE).

Storage
