Product information about GEHWOL Corn tincture
GEHWOL Corn tincture is a topical product specifically designed to treat corns. The active ingredient salicylic acid helps to soften and loosen the dead skin, allowing the corns to heal.No prescription is required for this product.
Areas of application
GEHWOL Corn tincture is used externally to treat corns. The tincture can be applied directly to the affected area using the included spatula to relieve painful pressure points.
Mode of action
The salicylic acid contained in GEHWOL corn tincture has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the formation of prostaglandins, which are involved in the development of pain and inflammation.Salicylic acid also softens the upper stratum corneum of the skin, which accelerates the healing of corns.
Active ingredients and ingredients
100 g of the solution contains 14.0 g of salicylic acid as a medicinally active ingredient. The other ingredients are acetic acid 99%, pyroxylin, 2-ethoxyethanol, native castor oil, levomenthol, ethyl acetate, ether and Ponceau 4R (E124).
