Area of application

The drops are a medicine for removing corns and calluses in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.If there is no improvement after 5 days, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

The drops contain 49 mg lactic acid and 120 mg salicylic acid as active ingredients.The following excipients are also included: ether, ethyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol, thick paraffin, pyroxylin and refined castor oil.

Contraindications

The drops must not be used if you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The drops should also not be used on birthmarks, hairy warts or warts in the genital area or on the face.Its use is not recommended if kidney function is impaired.The drops must not be used on infants.In children, long-term treatment on large areas should be avoided.

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.The drops are used in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.Unless otherwise prescribed, apply 1-2 drops of the solution to the area to be treated 1-2 times a day for 4-5 days, spread and allow to dry.In stubborn cases, repeat the treatment, but wait until the previously applied layer has dried firmly.To protect healthy skin, you can cover it with petroleum jelly.With regular use, the softened calluses can be easily removed after 3-5 days.A hot bath makes it easier to peel off the softened calluses and remove the corn.The treatment can be repeated if necessary.Close the bottle immediately after use.

If you have used a larger amount than you should, no toxic side effects are generally to be expected when using salicylic acid preparations externally, even if the specified maximum amounts are accidentally exceeded for a short time.Local skin irritation may occur.As a countermeasure, removing the preparation is sufficient.

If you forget to use, do not use a double dose if you forget the previous application.

Patient information

Pregnancy

The drops must not be used on the breastfeeding breast.Accidental ingestion of the preparation by the infant through contact with the treated part of the body must be avoided.If the doctor considers regular treatment of large areas of skin to be necessary, breastfeeding should be stopped early, as risks due to a lack of detoxification in newborns cannot be ruled out.
