Area of application

Bepanthen solution is used to support healing of superficial, minor skin damage and injuries to the oral mucosa.The solution is particularly suitable for wound healing of oral mucosa lesions and promotes the healing of minor skin injuries.The active ingredient dexpanthenol supports the formation of new cells and thus contributes to wound healing.The solution is free of dyes and fragrances.

Bepanthen solution contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol in a concentration of 50 mg per milliliter.In addition, the solution contains the following excipients: sodium benzoate, methyl (4-hydroxybenzoate), propyl (4-hydroxybenzoate), pantolactone and purified water.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients.There are no known restrictions on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, breastfeeding women are not advised to use it on the breast area.

Dosage

Always use Bepanthen solution exactly as directed.Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, apply the undiluted solution to the affected areas one to several times a day.It can also be used in the form of rinses or compresses.The duration of use depends on the type and course of the disease.

Intake

Bepanthen solution is intended for use on the skin.The solution can be applied undiluted or used in the form of rinses and compresses.If necessary, rinse your mouth once or several times a day and then spit out the solution.For external use, apply the solution undiluted to the affected area of skin or use moist compresses.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using as frequent use on the skin may cause irritation or inflammation.There are no specific restrictions on use for children and the elderly.When used on a large scale during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the benefit should be weighed against any possible risk.
