Areas of application

H&S Nettle leaf medicinal tea is used to flush the urinary tract and to prevent and treat kidney grit.The tea also supports the treatment of rheumatic complaints.If you have blood in your urine, fever or symptoms that persist beyond seven days, you should consult a doctor.Medical advice should also be sought in the case of acute rheumatic complaints with redness, swelling or overheating of the joints, as well as if the symptoms persist.

Contraindications

Nettle leaves should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients.Even if there is edema due to restricted heart or kidney activity, flushing therapy is not indicated.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding as there are no sufficient studies available.Children under 12 years of age should also not use the tea.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medicines.

Dosage and application

Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults should drink tea from 1-2 filter bags 3-4 times a day.To do this, pour boiling water over the filter bags and let them steep for about 10 minutes.The bags are then removed and squeezed lightly.The freshly prepared tea should be drunk.It is important to drink plenty of additional fluids.If you have any questions about dosage or application, you can ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

100 Grams of the tea contains 100 grams of nettle leaves (Urticae folium) as a medicinally active ingredient.The original pack contains 20 filter bags, each containing 1.6 grams of medicinal tea.

Notes on durability

The expiry date of the pack is printed at the bottom right.Do not use the pack after this date.Store the tea in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.Do not store above 25°C and keep out of the reach of children.

Mode of action

The ingredients of nettle leaf tea, such as fatty acids, silicic acid, phytosterols and tannins, have an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect.The tea has a slightly diuretic effect and is therefore used against kidney grit.

Important notes

If you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C), the tea should be used with caution.
